NAILED IT – NAIL VARNISHES TO FINISH SUMMER

One of my favourite things about summer and holidays is getting a new selection of nail varnishes.

Cya later to the dark, sultry winter blacks, burgundies and occasional sparkles, and hello to the beautifully girly pinks and blues!

I’d say we’ve got two months left of wearing summer colours, before we have to make the gradual transition to those winter tones.

For the last 4 weeks I’ve been alternating between these two nail varnishes, so decided I would share them with you. They’re so pretty!

Guava

I think this shade would look gorgeous in winter as well, so it’s a double winner!

I would say that this shade is somewhere between teal and turquoise. I always have to have a bluey green varnish in my life during summer; it looks great when the sea or pool reflects on it.

TAKE ME ON HOLIDAY ALREADY.

I’ve had plenty of gel varnishes, some come out like you’ve had them professionally done and others are a complete fail. This one is somewhere in the middle. But that doesn’t bother me because the colour is so nice and long lasting!

Papaya

Even the name makes me feel like I’m basking in the sun whilst rolling around on white sand beaches.

It’s similar to a coral but with more of an orange tinge to it. I personally prefer it on my toes because it complements a tanned foot very well *weirdest sentence I have ever written*, but it looks great on fingers too.

This too is a gel varnish, and if I’m honest it is a lot more gel like than Guava and has a much shinier, glossy finish.

You can get both of these for less than £4 here!

What are your favourite summer colours?
