This is not only about fitness and healthy eating, but about blogging, working, University work… life!

This year has been strange for me. Never before have I had to juggle as much as I am juggling right now, and it’s not as if I’m being forced – it is all a choice. I want to keep it all up but it’s just taking me some time to adjust.

I’m currently in my fourth and final year of University, tackling some intense assignments (including my dissertation) that drove me to have a bit of a mental block recently, as well as working part time at a restaurant; clocking up between 20-30 hours a week. I desperately need to get back to my post Australia fitness and get back on track with my healthy eating, and I also need to pay more attention to my blog – as both these areas of my life have been neglected since 2016 started. Previously, I was either at uni or working full time and have never really juggled both, and I think that is why I’m struggling with everything else – as I’m not yet quite used to my schedule and how tired I constantly feel.

It’s taken me a couple of months, but I’m back on track with University work *touch wood*, and I’m feeling settled in my new job, although working nights is still throwing me off slightly. And with Easter just around the corner, I think this is the perfect time for a fresh start i.e. getting back on with my blogging and improving my lifestyle.

I’ve spent a few hours today blogging and creating a schedule for the next couple of weeks – so be ready for some new posts up soon! And I’ve also taken the time to reflect on what motivated me pre-Australia to get healthy, and adapting this to give myself motivation now.

So yes, a bit of a pointless post, but I just wanted to apologise for my lack of blogs recently, and let you know that Bethanie Rose will be back in full action next week. I PROMISE.
